Doris Day - Que Sera Sera [VIDEO]

When I was just a little girl
I asked my mother what will I be
Will I be pretty will I be rich
Here's what she said to me

Que Sera Sera
Whatever will be will be
The future's not ours to see
Que Sera Sera
What will be will be

When I grew up and fell in love
I asked my sweetheart what lies ahead
Will we have rainbows day after day
Here's what my sweetheart said

Que Sera Sera
Whatever will be will be
The future's not ours to see
Que Sera Sera
What will be will be

Now I have children of my own
They ask their mother what will I be
Will I be handsome will I be rich
I tell them tenderly

Que Sera Sera
Whatever will be will be
The future's not ours to see
Que Sera Sera
What will be will be
Que Sera Sera

Does Anyone Remember "Mystery Date?" [VIDEO]

My problem, I think, is that I kind of favored the "dud" guy because he was a non-conformist and I could invent any identity I wanted for him whereas the other date boys were rigid stereotypes and locked in - no imagination necessary. I used to piss off my girlfriends by HOPING to get The Dud then I'd create backstories like, "He looks that way because he just came back from Africa after working at the Albert Schweitzer Institute, curing blindness and saving lives by giving free medical care to poor people." And so on. A little imagination can be a dangerous thing. And heck no, I don't even know if there really is an Albert Schweitzer Institute. Sounds about right, though. I'm also the nonconforming child who refused to buy Barbie when she came out because I thought her shape was degrading to women. I think I was on my second or third chemistry set by then.

Watch What This 90 Year Old Couple Does at the Clinic

At the age of 90 and married 62 years, these two are acting like they're in their 20s. This is a great video that shows we are only as old as our attitude. These two were an inspiration to everyone at the clinic that day.

This video was found at Godvine.com (a Christian website).

Ghost Ships - Is It Real?

This could be a fun thing to study. I love a good ghost story. How about you?

Ocean-going vessels mysteriously missing their crews; ships long ago sunk damned to eternally sail the seas with the dead at the helm. Stories of ghost ships have been told by superstious sailors for centuries, but is there any truth to them? Modern science attempts to explain some of the more baffling cases like that of the Mary Celeste which was found without her crew and no signs of foul play.

Alfred Hitchcock - Rope [Full Movie]

Two young men strangle their "inferior" classmate, hide his body in their apartment, and invite his friends and family to a dinner party as a means to challenge the "perfection" of their crime. It seems every Hitchcock movie is a "masterpiece" and this is yet another example.

This movie is perfect viewing for any Hitchcock fan... of course. But, it's also great for Jimmy Stewart fans and film students and writers who want to study how to peel off the layers of great storytelling and character definition. And it all takes place in one location. Now, that's some great storytelling.
